Balls, Bags & Clubs, All My Golfing Equipement is Cheap!
| ||||||||
My main focus in life is to be the cheapest golfer on the block. In other words, when talking to the other web guys around the latte cooler in the morning, I want to be able to tell them about the 100 golf balls that I got for 12 bucks, or the new Burton golf bag I picked up in Vegas at Pubcon, while they were slaving away over some new .php or .css article. Sure this isn't the usual golf site, but it's mine and I'm a cheap golf equipment freak. I read one time that a pessimist knows the price of everything and the value of nothing… well, I'm thinking that's a bunch of BS, because I know the cost of everything, and I still know the value of a nice day on the links with a couple of friends, a cooler full of Black Butte Porter, and a view of the Three Sisters from the Bend area. In other words I really, really like to golf, but just have a hard time dropping money on name brand stuff like Callaway, Ping, Medicus, Cobra, Nike, Footjoy, Ecco, Puma, Dunlop, Burton, Datrek, Sun Mountain, and other high price, name brand products. I like to do the whole gamut of golf equipment for as little money as possible. If I can get name brand golf shoes, golf bags and golf clubs for cheaper than anyone else I know, then that makes me happy. (The reason this isn't a blog or golfing forum is because I don't want to know about the good deals you got… LOL) Actually, I'm thinking about getting a WII. If I had a WII I could golf all the time and it wouldn't cost me much of anything. And, if I had a WII in my office, I could spend time online writing articles about WII golf tips, WII sports and tips on WII golf, and write the whole thing off on my taxes as a work tool. Instead, I'm stuck paying money to play golf outside, with real clubs, balls and carts, which all cost money. I hope you enjoy the golfing links and articles I've put together on this site. (If not, you can always leave. I hear there's been a resurgence in Macramé…)
