Where to Get a Top-Of-The-Line Golf Bag Cheap!

Guess what? When you show up at the airport with your clubs wrapped in reams of duct tape, instead of a golf bag, airport security doesn't really like it much. They have to unwrap it to check them, just like the way you're supposed to leave your luggage unlocked, so they can check it out and steal your wife's favorite pair of…. Socks.

I won't bore you with the details of my encounter with TSA, but let's just say I'm not a fan! The reason that I didn't have a bag was because it was trashed, so I tossed it, and then had to go to Las Vegas before I could get a new one. Once I got to Vegas, I grabbed a nice Taylor-Made Monza Featherweight Stand Bag for under $130 from Las Vegas Golf and Tennis. But it got me thinking about cheap golf bags. Since most of the golfing stuff I own is cheap, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way that I'd had to buy a bag at regular prices. Sure, pretty much everyone else sells their Taylor Made Monza's for $150.00, but the thought started me on the hunt for the cheapest golf bag store I could find.

The first thing I did was to get on the net and do searches for “cheap golf bags”, “discount golf bags” and “discounted golf equipment”. I'm not really sure why I threw in the last one, but I tend to get distracted and side tracked when looking for something online. So There…

The problem I found with that approach was that there were so many millions of websites selling cheap golfing stuff that you could spend the rest of your life trying to find anything. I also didn't like the results that I got when I did a product name search, except for one. When I ran the search for a Burton Hybrid CXS golf bag, it kicked out some results that included what used to be Google's old Froogle, but is now called Google Product Search.

Well, come to find out, if you're looking for a discount golf store so you can get a cheap golf bag from Burton, Datrek, Callaway or Nike, then checking Google products is a great idea. Even if you're going to end up going to eBay, and bidding on the perfect Sun Mountain bag, you're really going to want to check prices at Google products first, so that you know you aren't bidding too much.

So, who's the cheapest? The answer is, “It depends on what you're looking for”. How's that for wishy-washy? Well, the truth is that you need to check each product you are looking for, on an individual basis to find out. So, get to it and I'll see you on the links…
